"The Something" is re-written, completed, registered with WGAe and was submitted for posting today on simplyscripts.com and scriptbuddy.com. I will let you know when it is up and ready for your thoughts. I came up with an effective tagline for the film ="Something is happening..." More to come on this script soon.

My third feature will push my mind to the limit. It is called "The Barnhart Effect." A quick synopsis : America is on the brink of war with Russia over a malfunctioning weapon. One man, Bay Barnhart, holds the key to peace. The problem is, he doesn't know it. I am in the process of a tedious and stressful rough draft so stay tuned.

"The Something" is nearly finished, err the first re-write that is. I will be sure to have it read and available to the public by the end of the year. I've decided to submit 3 features to the Script PIMP contest next year in Los Angeles. More details on the 3rd installment when I actually have something written for it.

Screen Writer's Corner- It's November Already?

Where has 2008 gone? Don't forget to vote Tuesday the 2nd!

"A Beautiful Somewhere" hit www.simplyscripts.com last week. A few people have reviewed it and there were some great comments- "Easily one of the best scripts on this site." - Craig posted. Thanks to everyone who read the story and I hope you enjoyed it.

"The Something" has over 400 views on www.simplyscripts.com. That's so awesome and thank you all! All the comments have one thing in common- it needs to be a feature. That is in the works and I am 50 pages into it. It has turned into a teen-paranoid-thriller with a Halloween twist, you'll enjoy it.

I am still waiting for simplyscripts.com to post my features, but I know it can take up to 10 days so I am being patient and I hope to have them up this week.

What I Am Working On:

2. "The Something" re-write
3. New Feature Idea (tentatively called "Inhabitant one")

What's Going On?!

Hey Everyone.... here's the scoop!
A Beautiful Somewhere has been published on ScriptBuddy.com!!! Finally! Here is the link where you can read it and sign up and leave feedback: http://www.scriptbuddy.com/community/?p=4291532606&t=&pg. It also has been WGAe registered as of this week.

The script should be up on http://www.simplyscripts.com/ within a few days so I will keep you posted on that.

On another note, THE SOMETHING is still going strong. I am into the first re-write of the Thriller/ Horror and things seem to be progressing nicely. There have been over 250 views of the 13 page original short!!! Thanks to all for the reads and support.

Hey gang!

So "A Beautiful Somewhere" has been completed, edited, and re-written. I had the story registered with WGAe and the US Copyright offices today as well.

The script can be read at either of the following websites:

The script was submitted today, so it will take a few days to show up. In the meantime you can read it by contacting me via email.

MY NEXT WORK:

My next screenplay will be titled "The Something". It is set to be a thriller/horror set in a small town in Ohio. Because it is in the outline phase I cannot give out too many details, but a possible tag line would obviously be... "Something...is here."

What I am working on:

My first feature length screenplay "A Beautiful Somewhere" will be completed this weekend and hopefully posted here along with a few other web sites by early next week.

Tag Line: A son. A Soldier. A Hero.

Re-writes:

"The Something" is in the process of being re-written from a 13 page short to a full length feature, thanks to GREAT feedback from fellow screen writers.

Contests:

"The Something" was submitted in the OWC Halloween Challenge last week on SimplyScripts.com. The story is a 13 page Young Adult horror/ thriller. I have had 155 view and plenty of constructive yet positive feedback. I will post the results when they are finalized.
